Everyday we are confronted by manipulation. Be it commercial billboards in the capitalist world or the ubiquitous wall-sized propaganda in North Korea (“CHILDREN – LET’S MEET AT THE FRONTLINE!“), manipulation is the masterclass of the 20th century. Propaganda began with the famous „We Can Do It“ posters to boost female worker morale in Word War II and has by now reached a degree of professionalization never seen before. All over the world, propaganda, aiming to manipulate, invites and seduces us to take note.
