In my childhood Karl May’s Winnetou was one of my favorite Western movies. The landscapes shown in the movies were spectacular but so far never made me venture into Croatia beyond its capital Zagreb and the beautiful but overtourism port city of Dubrovnik. It’s good to still have a serious bucket list.
