Guido was born in a tiny hillside village in beautiful Swabia in Southern Germany and has so far lived in France, Iran, New York City, Berlin, Sri Lanka, Rio de Janeiro and Kenya, but also in more tumultuous places like Afghanistan and South Sudan. He currently lives in Mexico City.

For work and for pleasure, he has travelled to every country on earth.

On his travels he backpacked on the Silk Road from China to Persia, sailed the Niger River to fabled Timbuktu, followed the holy Ganges on foot from its source in the Himalayas to its mouth in the namesake delta, survived a bomb blast in Kabul and finally became Carnival champion in the Sambódromo of Rio de Janeiro.

Guido has exhibited his works so far in Berlin and Rio and loves to tell stories with his photos. These culminate in his one conclusion: All over the world, people enjoy the same things, pursue the same desires. It’s truly ONE WORLD ,

Iranian Fesenjun and Sri Lankan Cuttle Fish, Chinese Dim Sum and Xia Long Bao, Brazilian Rodizio and Swabian Spätzle, Kenyan Nyama Choma and Georgian Khinkali  – Guido loves to travel and eat, and he is always hungry for more.
